HOW TO PLAN AHEAD FOR A PARTY OR EVENT

A great party will compromise of many things apart from the food and venue. You will have to organize the tables for your guests and make sure that they are all comfortable. Sometimes planning well ahead will take time and effort on your part. Here is how you can plan your party:
LOOK INTO THE NUMBERS
You must see as to how many people you want to seat at the venue. If you are thinking about an outdoor one then you need to think about what will happen if it does rain. Sometimes it might be difficult for you to seat people in one small area for several hours at a stretch. Think about how you can space the people in the area.
STAFFING AND MACHINERY NEEDS
You must think carefully about the equipment you will need to cook the meals. You might need cups, sauces and even glass. Try to borrow some from your friends if you do need to. This will help you save space as well as time. You can even try to hire or rent glasses or crockery if you do not want to wash the items. If you are trying to organize a small event try to hire a few staff members for the task at hand.
WRITE A CLEAR PLAN
You must try to write a clear plan of all the items which do need to be arranged and sorted in place. Try to get help to sort out the flowers, equipment and even the drinks. You can try to have specific days to finish organizing certain items. Sometimes you might have to focus on preparing the food as well as drinks. Try to be logical as well as realistic about the process at hand. You must try to make food items which are well cooked but which are not over done in any way.
LOOK INTO THE QUANTITIES
You must slowly try to sort out the quantities. You might need certain amounts of meat and fish for the task. You might even need vegetables as well as potatoes to make your food items taste good. Try to make them mild- moderately spicy to avoid your guests disliking the meals you have prepared. Try to prepare the meals in a safe manner. Do try to take them out of the refrigerator before you do decide to serve them. It is great if you can try to serve hot food as if food has been out for a long period of time it won’t taste as good as it should.
